The Emcoe Group has just completed two Craftsman style, semi-detached homes in the inner-city neighbourhood of Crescent Heights. The homes are on tree-lined 9th Avenue NE just one block in from Centre Street and a few blocks north of Rotary Park. The neighbourhood is a mix of older homes and new development, and is an easy walk to downtown across the Centre Street bridge.
The homes have been designed by architect Scott McKay in the craftsman style to blend harmoniously into the character of the neighbourhood. The exteriors feature high-pitched rooflines with dormers, wooden eave braces, exterior batons, and grilled windows.
The interior of the homes have been designed in a transitional style which brings together traditional and modern elements to deliver a look that balances comfort and contemporary design.
